neutral
JULIE HILLMAN is an amazing designer based in NY and I really admire her style and ability to put together interiors that are all in one fashionable, livable and timeless. She uses a lot of neutrals in her projects, focusing on beautiful textures and sophisticated details. This project is no different, an incredible home in upstate New York with so much to see and admire. I really, really love this facade to start with, do you imagine coming back home every day and see this?

The wooden sculptures really add an interesting element to the space, an exotic touch mixed with carved chairs and soft curved sofa, I love the contrast.

Still a massive fan of framed fashion photographs so this rooms gets a huge thumbs up!!

How incredible is this dining room?? Pure perfection!!! (insert: heart eye emoji)

Again a mix of neutrals, whites with darker accents and a game of textures with those cozy rugs!!
I love the light in here too.

I've been digging the nude trend since I've seen this picture of models wearing Balmain and when I saw more accessories and clothes yesterday on Polyvore I couldn't help but look for some fabulous items in similar tan/nude color.

This NYC based interior design firm, was established in 2005 and very successful since then. The studio works on various commercial and residential spaces and offer a personalized and and friendly client approach. I really admire their work- beautiful, elegant interiors in neutral colours, with "New England" influences but with contemporary/big city twist. You can have a look at the full portfolio here

I fell in love with this 4 bedrooms, 3,800-square-foot residence in Washington, belonging to a
couple of entrepreneurs-Nora and André Jordan. Renovated by Solis Betancourt&Sheriff design firm, the space is very glamorous, kept in tones of ivory and warm gold with different textures on the walls, precious marble in the bathrooms and custom made sofas. And how amazing are those windows?? When you input "neutral" in the seach bar on Pinterest, there is an endless feed of spaces that I can only describe as very very boring-sorry Pinterest. And it's not because I am a big fan of colour and pattern, I just can't help but think they lack something special. I do appreciate a stylish minimalism and Scandinavian simplicity but the mix of bare walls, white bed linens and a low bed just doesn't do it for me.
So I found those beautiful neutral spaces, filled with textures and beautifully crafted furniture and kept in different shades of taupe, white, beige and grey tones and I couldn't love them more.
