There are spaces so inspiring, they don't leave you indifferent. You need to have a look at this gorgeous house in Connecticut featured in AD, every single thing in this house is an inspiration on it's own. It's designed by Fox-Nahem Associates and this is what they say about the project:
"A young, dynamic family with a significant contemporary art collection and very traditional furniture, approached FN to update the interiors of their expansive, classic Greenwich home to more accurately reflect their current tastes. No corner of this 10,000 square foot home was left untouched. Seamlessly combining refined vintage pieces, bespoke designs, and commissioned artisan pieces FN deftly created a highly personal environment characterized by elegance, timelessness and a dash of whimsy. In the end, FN struck a harmonious balance between art and interiors"
I love this grey sofa and those blue velvet chairs are just amazing.
How fun is this armchair? And this clown art is somehow not creepy.
Amazing geometric floor pattern and pops of colors.
This is not something I would ever do but this velvet looks amazing, there is not a lot of colors in this room set, yet the whole looks very striking. Love the shape of the armchairs as well.
I think this chandelier/sculpture really works with this wall color, the dining room looks almost mesmerizing!
A quiet simple bedroom but I guess as the rest of the house is full of colors, this is the owners' "get away from the rest of the world" room.
Cocktail anyone?
The dressing room doors are metal, yet looks light and uplifting in here.
If you wondered how the outside looks like... There it is.. Can I cry now?
