While scrolling through Pinterest and various interior design inspirational websites lately, I have noticed an interesting marble trend - small marble tiles for the bathroom. What you usually see are the bigger size marble tiles that create a large pattern with invisible joints, but this is a different! Instead of creating the pattern, the idea is to use smaller tiles and put them together to get an asymmetrical "non-perfect" design. I think it looks pretty amazing and works great in modern and more traditional spaces both! What do you think? Would you do that in your bathroom?

This loft , designed by DHD (interiors Steffani Aarons) is a rare example of a an interior that is contemporary but still feels cozy and warm. Despite a lot chrome details- on sofa's legs, lamps and chairs, the use of natural fabrics and materials like marble fireplace and rattan chaise evens the space out. I love the use of the pattern fabric on the contemporary chair and the coziness of the more traditional looking chair in the corner of the living room. I also love the use of 2 different types of windows right next to each other- the black French looking with cut-ups and very modern white terrace door - definitely a strong visual point that perfectly blends the traditional with contemporary. If you don't know Ryan Korban yet, you just HAVE to see his work! He is an interior design genius. Seriously, I just can't get enough of his sexy, sleek sophisticated style. The list of his clients include top Hollywood celebrities like James Franko and models Julia Stegner and Jessica Stam. He also designed the NYC Alexander Wang's apartment and the flagship store in Manhattan. I cannot wait to see more of his projects, definitely a one to watch if you are into design at all!! And as his design mantra is sex, romance and fantasy I bet we will see more amazing spaces in the future!!
