Bar cart dream
Wednesday, 19 February 2014
No matter if you like to have a glass of wine after work or a cocktail party on weekends, you may like to get one of those beauties. It's one of the items that I will get first for my future home, maybe only the bed and sofa (and hey, it can help you get through the moving stress).
My favorite ones are definitely the brass and silver ones, styled with vintage accessories and more brass, fresh flowers and art. I am DYING to get mine.

I am in the middle of redoing my sister's bedroom and I by the way cannot wait to share it on the blog soon!!
In the meanwhile I am looking for cute ideas on the budget and smart DIYs to try to incorporate in her space.
Working on something on a budget may be quiet challenging so finding good ideas that wont leave you broke are more then necessary.
And I am always excited to find some new ones and here they are!
The cutest chandelier ever and seems really easy to do if you have a spare evening to spend on those cute sequins. I also love this cutie
Amazing stuff to update the IKEA classics with a super user friendly website and loads of visuals to see the final result before you go ahead!
Love this fuchsia and gold pillow from Etsy. Totally glamour and under 30 pounds! Same with this one here
Those cups look pretty amazing, don't they?? I think I am addicted to gold
This lovely giraffe who will keep your rings safe (from Anthropology)
I would never thought this would look good but it does!
IKEA picture edges - cheap and easy way to dress up your wall and you can change it easily as often as you want!

Decorating with: Books
Friday, 8 November 2013
Back to brights today with something I wanted to write about for a while, which is decorating the interior with books!! Every time I see a side or coffee table I like or a work studio with a bookcase, there are always pretty books showing their shiny covers. A room filled with books looks so eclectic and fun, reflecting people's personalities and passions while dressing the room. I love the look of a white bookcase with loads of colorful books on it, mixed with accessories, vases, flowers and art. I believe the more colorful, the prettier so experiment, mix colors and patterns and don't be afraid of bold!
Also have a look at how Emily Henderson and Emily from Cupcake and Cashmere dress tables with books.
There are so many pretty books out there, have a look at those interior design/fashion ones for lovely covers and an interesting read!
Allegra Hicks: An Eye for Design / Ivan Terestchenko: Beyond chic / Vahram Muratyan : Paris versus New York: A Tally of Two Cities / Debora Needleman: Domino: the Book of Decorating / Tiany Kiriloff: Every inch of a lady / Abigeil Ahern : Decorating with style / Yvan Rodic: A Year in the Life of Face Hunter / Robin Muir: Vogue Model: The Faces of Fashion / Bharati Mukherjee: India: In Word and Image

Hi you guys,
After few months of hesitating if moving from our east London house or stay, we decided to stay! Looking for a flat in London can be a pain, especially when you have 3 flatmates and want to make everyone happy (almost impossible). The house has been rented for almost 3 years now and after few people moved in and out, we are now 4 and ready to stay. And staying mean to have some work done because the house need some serious redecorating! I am really looking forward to this as to my first before/after project and I am very excited to get going. The whole project has to be on a budget, since its a rented flat we don't want to put too much money in it. Its an extra challenge and I am ready to have some serious DIY work done and I have to say PINTEREST is my best friend now. I also spend way TOO much time on IKEA website while searching for affordable pieces of furniture. We have some at home already and I can't wait to get my hands on them! I found so many great ideas while digging the blogs and want to share my favs with you!I will definitely try to do some soon so hope you will stay with me :)
I will also redo my sister's and mine bedrooms so I am extra excited about that as well!!
