home decor
Some of you might have already seen this space as it was featured on Style me pretty but whoever didn't, this is for you! The space is designed by designstiles and it's inspired by Napa in California.
I love the relaxed and fresh feel of the space, you can almost feel the breeze of the ocean coming through the window! The rustic details are adding to the charm of the space but are perfectly balanced with the rest of finishes, creating a cozy and modern home ( and how beautiful is this bathroom???) Homepolish nailed it again like they always do and I want to share 2 of their San Francisco projects today - 2 is always better then  1 right? The first one is a feminine home with an extremely stylish living room with a  fabric Chesterfield style sofa that I love, leather chairs and coastal accessories.  Very feminine but with "outdoorsy" and casual vibe.

The second one is an equally stylish, Victorian family home for 3. I love how spacious and airy it looks with beautiful wooden floors, pops of green and more traditional touches.
Which one do you like best??

Soo, I was supposed to go on holiday to Greece this year, but few weeks ago I got an overexcited text from my French cousin stating I ABSOLUTELY have to come to Marrakesh with her and some other friends in June. I hesitated first as I really wanted to go to Santorini but as I've never been to Morocco before so booked my flight!! I am really happy as I never get to spend holidays with my cousins anymore (we used to spend all summer holidays together when we were little and it were always the best of times) and obviously Morocco is so beautiful and hot!! I cant wait to visit the souks and the villa we are renting will be a total surprise as we left it to my cousin and her boyfriend to rent!
Waiting for my holidays I put together my favorite Marrakesh inspired items!

A space may be luxurious and look expensive, but when it doesn't have any personality I am getting bored by looking at it and living in it. I like when there is a lot going on in the room, textures, patterns, touch of color, objects that let you discover who lives there. That's why I loved this house tour of a loft in Toronto full of vintage pieces and fashion finds.

Absolutely fantastic eclectic mix of vintage furniture and accessories and how great is the mirrored coffee table reflecting the rug??

I love bolster cushions, they make the sofa look much more feminine and stylish. And those boxes are just beautiful.

Genius mix of styles!

A dream Chanel collection on display, I love the idea.

Designed by Homepolish, this glamorous condo in Boston was put together in 3 months, from bare walls to this beautiful space. I love the vintage inspired elements in the living room, perfectly accompanied by modern accents - the whole looks very sleek, yet cosy with a note of nostalgia. The photographs hanged all around the apartment are just amazing as well, the selection of fashion editorials is just perfect for the space. And this simple, neutral bedroom is just so pretty!Full tour via Ruemag.

I love beautiful sculptures, especially brass and marble ones and I like them to look expensive and sophisticated but also fun. Those are perfect pieces on the budget- they will add this special je ne sais quoi to the home office or living room without ruining the wallet. Which one is your favorite? x

I remember being at some kind of precious gemstones  fair as a child and being fascinated with all the beautiful and mysterious stones there. It seemed like they all had a story behind them and were just so beautiful.
Coming back to my childhood memories, I rediscovered the precious stones in design recently and have a serious crush on all kind of pretty stones but especially - the amethyst.
I find them most beautiful and interesting in their natural, raw form for both home decor and jewelry and I cannot wait to put my hand on one!!
Oh, and they make a great shelf accessory or a desk paper weight as well (like this one)!!

1 Candle // 2 Set of stones // 3 Yellow box // 4 Transparent box// 5 Decorative object //
6 Silver leaf box // 7 Amethyst on base // 8 Bottle stopper
I found this make over on Apartment Therapy yesterday and I could only share it with you!
From traditional, dark colored living room to a fabulous, bright and bold space, I love it! I think I have a slight brass/pink in mid-century spaces addiction as well. Oh well.
