midcentury
I was asked by Chairish last week (an amazing website selling vintage furniture and decor of all periods and styles) to create a Mad Men inspired mood board in homage to the show! Have a look at their selection of midcentury pieces here , you will definitely find something for you if you like vintage elements in your space! To create the room, I went more Betty Draper then Don Draper as I love a feminine, softer look in neutral tones, but all spaces in the show are so inspiring! It's such an amazing period of time! Here is some inspiration if you are loving the 70s vibes as well and will be missing the show!! PS. You might also like to see house of the creator of the show here!

It's a challenge to create a kid friendly house that is stylish and chic in the same time. Interior designer Carla Lane did a great job on this Santa Monica family home for her clients. Using vintage furniture with cheaper mid-century inspired pieces from high street (like West Elm) and her client's own possessions, she created a cozy, inviting and ultra chic space that reflects their owners' personalities.

I love mid-century Californian spaces, they are colourful, vibrant and fun.
This one belongs to Claire, the girl behind The Kitchy Kitchen blog. Her home is very bright and full of light and filled with beautiful wooden mid-century furniture and mixed with colourful accessories and textures, creating sophisticated but relaxed space. Her kitchen is amazing, all white with gold accents, really beautiful!
And I love the wooden floor throughout! Full tour via domaine

Those mid-century inspired bedrooms are absolutely fantastic, I can't get enough of how dreamy and beautiful they are!
