Vanity trays round up
Monday, 22 August 2016
I was looking for a nice tray for my chest of drawers to organize my perfume bottles and accessories so I thought I'd share the ones I liked with you. They are very much budget friendly and chic and they will add a little glam to your vanity or even coffee table. Add a small vase, flowers, a sculpture and some chic accessories and you have yourself a pretty little corner.

Loving right now: Glam textures
Wednesday, 20 January 2016
There is no better way to spicy thing up a bit in a room but by adding a little texture. I love open, bright spaces but I am also drawn to darker, moody rooms with mysterious, sexy vibes.
Fur and textured leather can be great if you want to add just a little texture or you can go all in with a animal print wallpaper. I would personally love this look for a small bedroom or a powder room, maximum effect in a minimal space! Would you dare??

Wow home tour
Tuesday, 28 July 2015
This project is such a great example of different textures, colors and finishes working together in one space if you are juts brave enough to go for it. Patterned windows treatments, Kelly Wearstler's furniture, mid-century chairs and glossy black wall, this place has everything!! You can see the whole tour here
Loving right now: Neutrals & Textures
Wednesday, 22 April 2015
Beige and grey are so often use in interior design they are often considered boring and used as a save solution. Although as proved by a lot of excellent designers, when used right as a mix of different textures and shades, they can really work beautifully. Ryan Korban is a great example of that, his interiors, often kept in neutral hues are NEVER boring. Here is a little selection of my recent favorite neutral home décor.
Headboard // Picnic photograph // Lamp // Marble vase // Chest of drawers // Metal sculpture // Floral cushion // Sofa // Stool // Cashmere throw
Designer crush: Studio McGee
Wednesday, 11 March 2015
I came across the portfolio of interior designer/blogger Shea McGee few days ago and I couldn't help but share her inspirational spaces! I love her bright and bold aesthetics, feminine color palettes, floral patterns and eye catching focal points! I have chosen my favorite rooms of her portfolio but you can see all of it here.
Black & Gold at home
Wednesday, 18 February 2015
I think we'll all agree - nobody likes drama unless it's put into pretty accents for home! I am a big fan of dark accents for home, I think it has to do with the fact that I am also a big Ryan Korban's fan. I found some beautiful home accessories for you, they would look great in a home office or a bedroom, especially on a dark wall background!

Girly tangerine house tour
Friday, 23 January 2015
Even though I am not usually a big fan of orange but the owner and her lovely sister got it just right with the tangerine accents all around. White walls and beautiful dark wooden floor in the living room are the perfect canvas for the graphic patterns and bold colours, although the bigger pieces of furniture like the sofa and armchair are covered in a cream fabric to keep the room balanced. I really like the Chanel perfume prints on the wall as well, so pretty (you can buy them here). The rest of the house is kept in similar, pink, tangerine colour combo and it works just great through all the rooms without even feeling too much or heavy.
What an inspiration! xx
FOCUS: Canopy beds
Wednesday, 21 January 2015
There is something about the canopy beds. They transform the
bedroom, make it more spectacular and sophisticated, add volume to the space
and create a boutique hotel atmosphere
in your own home. I think they look just stunning and I would hesitate between one of those and a high upholstered headboard for my future home..hmm tough. I love how differently can a canopy bed be styled and how far from one another the looks are. My personal favourite is the modern take on a canopy bed, without the curtains and drapery. The drapery look is perfect is you want to achieve a sweet romantic or more traditional look, especially when using chinoiserie patterns and brighter colours. No matter what style you are going for, remember to keep the room very symmetrical - this will help to achieve a very sophisticated. Some say canopy bed only makes them thing of a holiday hotel room- I think the pictures below prove them wrong! Have a look to get inspired, I really like all of those rooms and how beautifully decorated they are!
Which one is your favorite? x
