Stylish sofas under £1500
Sunday, 24 May 2015
There are so many sofas out there on the market, unfortunately if you need a sofa on a budget, there is not much to chose from if you don't want to go to Ikea. Most of the cheap sofas are "over-designed", bulky in the shape and lack style dramatically, not to mention they actually look super cheap. The situation is not hopeless though, I have found few sofas on the budget that are stylish, elegant and will actually work in the room and not only be there as a temporary seating. Made.com is actually great for affordable furniture, you can get great deals there. Also loaf, even though a little more expensive and more traditional in style. Which one is your favorite??

I am in the middle of redoing my sister's bedroom and I by the way cannot wait to share it on the blog soon!!
In the meanwhile I am looking for cute ideas on the budget and smart DIYs to try to incorporate in her space.
Working on something on a budget may be quiet challenging so finding good ideas that wont leave you broke are more then necessary.
And I am always excited to find some new ones and here they are!

Have a look at this amazing transformation of a family room by Kristin from kristinlewisdesign blog.
The amount of work put in this place is really impressive as they had to change the floors and completely redo the walls, but turned out to be worth it because the results are amazing.
A cozy, elegant family room for the whole family to hang out.
Make sure to follow the blog for other before/after and loads of interesting tips.

IKEA smart

Hi you guys,
After few months of hesitating if moving from our east London house or stay, we decided to stay! Looking for a flat in London can be a pain, especially when you have 3 flatmates and want to make everyone happy (almost impossible). The house has been rented for almost 3 years now and after few people moved in and out, we are now 4 and ready to stay. And staying mean to have some work done because the house need some serious redecorating! I am really looking forward to this as to my first before/after project and I am very excited to get going. The whole project has to be on a budget, since its a rented flat we don't want to put too much money in it. Its an extra challenge and I am ready to have some serious DIY work done and I have to say PINTEREST is my best friend now. I also spend way TOO much time on IKEA website while searching for affordable pieces of furniture. We have some at home already and I can't wait to get my hands on them! I found so many great ideas while digging the blogs and want to share my favs with you!I will definitely try to do some soon so hope you will stay with me :)
I will also redo my sister's and mine bedrooms so I am extra excited about that as well!!

On the budget: Elegant bedroom decor for 350£
Thursday, 20 June 2013
I am sorry for not being here at all lately, I feel like I am cheating on my blog, is it normal, you guys?
I've been caught in a busy rhythm of London life and didn't have any spare time on my hands. I wish days had more hours and I didn't have to sleep so much ! Last week between work, birthday celebrations and dinners I hardly had a time to relax, this week the lack of sleep is coming back as a boomerang hitting me in the head. But I am so happy to be in London trying to make my dreams come true and having so much fun.
Being on tight budget for now I always try to find some affordable stuff to create beautiful looking interior inspirations. I know starting your life in a new country, new city, new job is though and often is hard to put everything together, especially in terms of money. For me being surrounded by nice environment at home is the base of feeling good and having it all together. And I believe that tight budget shouldn't be an obstacle when comes to live well.
So here is an idea of an elegant bedroom decor for 350£. xx

Inspired by architecture: Blue & coral bedroom
Friday, 24 May 2013
I find Oriental and Indian art and architecture very inspiring and beauitful so I went WOW seeing this picture on Pinterest. The colors and shapes are breath taking!! I love the windows and balustrades, maybe I should move to New Dheli and I could see things like that every day? I think the color palette in this picture is quite interesting, blue, coral pink and dark purple mixed with white and beiges. So why not to have a little of New Dheli here in Europe? I put together a bedroom decor in similar colors, let me know what you think! xx
